Flash animation properties (the stop-looping issue)

Hi everyone

I hope your all well. Firstly, thanks to everyone who offer continual great advice and who take the time out to answer forum posts. Be assured Im going to spend a little time on the web critique area for others also.

My question is a common one I beleive, and in regards to flash animation. Whilst Im no flash beginner, I am certainley no expert. The software Im using in this query is SwishMax (easier to do text animation than Flash) and Flash MX 8

I have created a marketing strapline with an effect to fade it in. This is a single effect, one time only and all properties I can find in Swish suggests it will play only once. Indeed the exported SWF plays only once also.

When imported into my Flash resource Library and dragged onto my background and then previewed, the strapline repeats. I've tried the following;

Ensuring the attributes in Swish are set to play once, including adding action script code 'stop();'

Adding a keyframe on the Flash timeline within Flash, and also adding the 'stop();' within it

Despite it though it still runs continuously. As you can see, I've tried to be thorough with all the information above, and I think its something very simple. Rest assured I've checked other forums and posts before posting, so hope Im not wasting anyones time.

Id be eternally grateful if someone could cast a expert eye on this!?
