Fireworks & DW Integration - HELP!
Hi folks! Thanks in advance for replying!
I've come across a small stumbling block in my first web site design. I have uploaded a JPEG to illustrate my problem a bit better...my expression is anything but good!

Right...essentially I have two table cells when ideally I would like one to fit all the text in.
The bottom half of the JPEG shows how I have sliced up the .png to be copied into DreamWeaver. The top half shows what it looks like in DreamWeaver with text inserted. Of course, this doesn't work and there is a large gap between the cells I don't want.
I also want a small picture (you can probably see where) in the bottom left.
Can ANYONE suggest a way round this? I've been pondering over it for days, and being a complete novice at this I'm not getting too far haha!

When you say you want a small picture in the bottom left, did you mean the bottom right? Are you talking about the slice where, in your screenshot, it says "Slice: GIF"?
If that is the case, just delete that slice in Fireworks, then export the HTML and images. All you will need to do is put that image in as you normally would without Firworks, by adding a tag that looks something like this:
<img src="whatever.jpg" align="right" style="padding: 10px;">'Hopefully you get the idea.

Excellent, I can import the JPEG and give it an absolute position on another layer!
