Dull Banner
OK I recently made this website and I don't know what it is but the top banner I have just seems to be missing something - it just strikes me as dull. I'd love some opinions on how to improve it:
Please ignore the fact it the content is about website promotion, the actual site is about Mobile Phones... its just the other pages don't really have content as such on them so it doesn't look quite right.

Are you really looking for help, or just trying to self-promote?
I have had to delete two duplicate posts from you and am worried we're going to be wasting our time in replying to this.
Your link reads: "Web Site Promotion" and is mysteriously pointing to the same page about SEO as the two posts I've just deleted. Very suspicious

A little from column A and a a little from column B... what can I say I could use some feedback on my article and I really do think the banner is dull and lacking something but at the same time I do want to promote my site and article... and I mean its not like it is completely useless or anything or trying to sell people anything or grabmeial addresses - it's a genuine guide written to help those looking to further their Web Site Promotion.

Smells like spam to me.
funny thing is the page talks about importance of PR rank etc, yet the site has a 0 PR

It's a brand new site... and if you look at other datacentres its getting PR3 after like only a couple of weeks.

You have 2 posts on this forum, besides this thread and replies, both posts point (spam) your site.
If you were genuine, you'd become an active member of the community first (as one of your articles suggests) and add your site in your signature, once active you could then post your site/page for review in the Website Critique Area. Instead you jump in and try promote your site tagging yourself as a spammer.
If it was me I would of deleted your posts (I'm the grumpy young(ish) fart) but as JeevesBond is part of the admin and I just a mod they have remained.
Maybe this is a lesson your article could address, no forum likes spammers. Signatures and such are a privilege, not a required feature.
