Creating animations
All right, I have two 70x70 avatar images I want to combine into one 70x70 avatar that is animated and changes frames about once every 15 seconds (not too quickly). I have Jasc Animation Pro/PSP, Photoshop 6, and Fireworks 4, the whole assortment. I tried to do this using Animation Pro (hence the name), but couldn't get it to work.
In Animation Pro, I used the wizard and went through the steps, but the final results wasn't animating. Does anyone know how to do this? Could you explain or point me in the right direction?

You just want the images to change?
I believe photoshop 6 comes with imageready, correct? You should be able to "animate" it from there. Just create a new image, open the 2 images, and drag them into the animation tab of the new image. You should be able to play around with timing settings to get everything the way you want it.
Good luck!

Howdy!
You say you have the lot of software installed,
in that case you might want to install Ulead GifAnimator.
Personally I think this has to be the best software to animate gif's with, I would also recommend you to install the v4 instead of the v5, I personally think the v5 has become to big.
Ok then,
Have fun with your animation!
hmmm...
I used to think that work was everything... it isnt...

I do all of my animations in Fireworks, dead easy. Open the workspace with the first image on it then open the frames inspector and click on new frame and then insert the second image. Double click on the number 7 in the frames inspector and change the value to whatever you want for the time change and then the same in the second frame, then make sure that you change it to animated gif before exporting.

kimss, I unfortunately don't have that particular software installed. However, my development partner does and he ended up using it to create the graphic for me.
Thanks for the tips. I'll keep them in mind next time I need to do this.

if you need a run down on using psp's animation program let me know and I'll run you through it, with or without help of the wizard.
I was a bit slow in answering this post

there's also gif construction set professional. I use that one when I do not use Corel R.A.V.E.
