Clear Crisp Sharp type in Graphics for the Web
Hello!
I have developed several banners for my website in Photoshop 4, saved them in gif format. The problem is the type looks awful!!
I've seen many MANY sites that have very crisp clear type in graphics. I've also posted to several vendors on the web that say they do this but have not had any response from any of them in the 2 weeks since I've written.
Can anybody help with suggestions on how to clear my typography up in my banner graphics or point me to a vendor who is more about service than ego?
Thanks in advance!
Ray

Hi Ray. Maybe if you posted the URL for the banners it would help... anyway, you might try saving them with slightly more colors, and before saving them as a gif try converting to indexed color (if you're just using the export filter). Also, try turning off anti-aliasing on the text. That should make it appear sharper.
