Changing Logo Sizes without pixelation¡?
Hi,
I have been trying to figure out how to change the size of a logo without it looking pixelated or choppy, if you can take a look at this flash banner, the logo doesn't look sharp.
How do I go about changing logo sizes without them looking bad?

Hmmm... that attachment didn't seem to work. I'm not sure why.
Anyway, if you want a logo to resize properly it has to be in a vector format. That's an absolute must when designing a logo. The problem arises when either this wasn't done when the logo was created or you can't find a source file. In this case, the only option is to re-draw the logo in a vector format.
This is a big lesson in desiging logos. Firstly, make sure it's in a vector format. Secondly, make sure the client has a copy of the vector version so it can be used in other marketing materials.

It's like I said above - you have to get that into a vector format somehow. You might be able to find some software that can do a decent job of converting a raster drawing to vector. I know I've seen this in something recently but I can't remember what program it was. You would surely have to do some editing by hand though.

If you isolate the bitmap and upload it, I'll do a quick vector trace in Illustrator for you

as o2b mentioned, raster to vector tracing can easily be performed with the latest versions of illustrator and coreldraw.
