CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A FREE 3D EDITOR?
I wonder if someone could recommend me a good
3d editor. I don't know much about them but I
know I want to be able to use the 3d projects
in web pages and maybe convert them to 2d.
It should be able to import and export vrml(.wrl)
definatly, and .png, .3ds, .dfx would be nice too.
I guess I want the best 3d editor no money can buy!
Thanks for any suggestions.

Pov-ray's awesome.
That's probably the best 3D Rendering Software you're going to encounter.
I don't have the web site on hand, but just search for 'Pov-Ray' in any search engine.

Blender's decent too, from what I remember, and it was just released as freeware, if memory serves.
The url is http://www.blender.nl/

I've downloaded it but I haven't done anything but play with it yet.
Give their site a look.
