Calling a Drupal 5.x User - Banner Help Please.
Hi. I am having a problem with my Drupal 5.7 Setup. What I want to accomplish is what TWF have here, the header banner.
I have tried advertisements, but it gave me a load of errors. I have tried Openads, but it displayed banners with titles and other info.
All I want is a simple banner display module that will cycle through my banners everytime the page is changed/reloaded.
Just like the one above, here on TWF.
I await the reply of anyone who can advise me. Thanks in Advance.

Have you tried Advertisement? Sounds like you have..
What kind of errors did you get?
You might have a look at some topics at http://drupal.org/search/node/image+rotator
I gotta run - good luck!

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I recieved the following error:
The Image Rotator is just a pain in the A!ss. You have to edit your template and directly embed the images before you can get it working, then, you have to use more code to allow them into the blocks. I am staying well clear.
Doe anyone know what module this site is using for the above banner?
Thanks.

Neven Mind. I was doing a personal comparison between Drupal and Joomla. I have so far managed to do everything I wanted in Joomla, and left Drupal awaiting it'd first WORKING addon.
I think, I will stick to Joomla as my website is already built around it. I got a few web-geek-mates who told me to check out drupal, (Which I had done in the past) so I did.
I dnt need help on this topic anymore. Thanks to anyone who may still be pondering on my question, it is much appreciated, but if I am to be successfull, I need to go with what works.
Thanks again. Cya'll

I meant to mention that I started using the Drupal Minelli theme which has rotating banners built in... but left it for the cool 4seasons theme for some display issues I don't remember.
anyway Reece, don't give up on Drupal many successful sites use it - but I do agree that you should go with what works!

Yeh, thanks. It's no big deal. I have had a successful community running on Joomla for the past year, why change?
Anyway, thanks for your advise, take care.
