book simulation web page?
Greetings of the Season to everyone.
I'm going to be replicating a brochure of products soon, onto a web site, and although a typical site would be the easiest to do, I'd liek ot do something different, something that Looks like a Book would be great, page turning... or even something close to it.... Flash I'm not experienced with, I have used Swish, though again ~ it might be a sizeable "brochure" and I don't want the resulting 'flash' file to be toooo big! specially for those on Dial-up!
pity there doesnt seem to be a Page transition effect that'd simulate it, any thoughts or ideas, programs appreciated...... then again, maybe I should just keep it simple!

Keep it simple (KISS)!
Page transitions and the like are annoying and slow down the navigation through a site, IME people prefer clean, simple, easy to use sites without the whistles & bells, especially for sites that are selling things.
Julia - if life was meant to be easy Michael Angelo would have painted the floor....

I have to agree with the Webmistress;
Anything that is "cool" rapidly turns to annoying on a site selling a product

Agree. However you could use a book as a background.

Here's something I was working on awhile back, so you can see something similar to what I mean:
