Bad Quicktime sound on Windows
I've authored a quicktime movie on my Mac. On windows the sound has crackles in the background and some sounds are trunkated. I downloaded the latest quicktime software for the Windows machine and still have the problem. No problem on my Mac.
AfterEffects 4.1, Video compression, 11.025 khz, 8bit.

Try when you render out in AF, to leave the bit rate at 16. That will hopefull clear up the crakeling,if space is not an issue bumb up the audio to 22k 16 bit mono. The audio will be much better. Are you using sorenson?
Hope this helps...

Yeah, that was the problem. Windows machines don't handle compressed sound as well as Macs.

I'm using Video compression on the animations and sorenson when I have live action or mixed live/animations.
