Animated Gifs - Help!
I am using Netscape Communicator 4+ and when I go to any website which has animated Gifs, they only move until the webpage is finished loading and then they stop moving. What have I done wrong? Is there something I must do in my browser? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Weird this.
And you sure it happens on all pages/all websites?

Dear JP, Yes it happens on all websites, not just my own. At first, I thought maybe I had done something wrong to the gifs on my page, so I went to other websites (where they actually offer free gifs) and the same thing happens.

Did you ever press the stop button? If you ever do that, it will stop the gif file where it currently is. Try never pressing the stop button, and see if that works.

Dear Brian - No. I let the entire page load. The gif will move until the page has stopped loading on its on. Then the gif is animated no more!
