aesthetic question take a look
My uncle died a couple of years ago. As an Xmas present to my relatives I’ve restored a nice picture of my mom and my uncle holding lion cubs.
I can’t decide whether to print these as duotones or b&w images.
What do you think?
Any suggestions like a color overlay?

It's hard to say without seeing the whole thing. I tend to prefer the duotones though.

I also prefer duotones as they seem warmer than B&W

I agree with Megan, it would really help to see the entire photograph... but the duotones do look better than the black and white from what I can see

Thanks very much for your kind input. I decided to print one of each for my Mom since it's a surprise for her. I'll just ask the rest of the family individually which they prefer.
thanks again.
