I'm playing with some designs for my new personal site. This is what I got so far:
One
Two
Three
Four
Five

Six

1-5 are all jpg's and are in an early phase of development. 6 is html/js/css and works for some part in IE. This one I posted a few weeks ago in the Critique section, but I'm not sure if I should continue with it or choose one of the other layouts.

Which one do you prefer?

I like #6 the most... Very creative/original idea, and it's still easy to figure out what goes where and how to get around the site.

ya might delete either "the way" or "how" - the alert for the OS link has a typo, "unfortunatley"

I agree - the laptop one is a much more sophisticated looking design. It is hard to tell how the others would look when fully refined though. I do feel that the laptop, while it is a great looking design and a neat idea, has a rather impersonal feel to it.

I have always liked #6 and still think it's the best one Smiling

Six wins with me also. 1-4 are too lean to really get a feel for and 5 I actually dislike!

Wish I would have thought of that one. Can I rip off your idea?

Just kidding. I was thinking of doing something with an entertainment center. VCR, cablebox, stereo, speakers, etc...
