3D map with glowing mouseovers
Hi there
I want to create a 3d map of my school for our webpage with glowing outline mouseovers for Indivdule classrooms and their name appearing at the bottom of the image but I have found I am unable to do this with still images because of the angles involved, and I was wondering how it could be done, would you use flash or somthing?
Sugestions?
Thanks Josh

It should be able to work with still images, why doesn't it work for you? Anyway, you might want to try Adobe Illustrator or a similar program...

I'd say it would be easier to do this with Flash if you HAVN'T created the 3D map yet. If you have, and it's in JPG format or something, than I would just create regular mouseovers.

Are you referring to the 'outer glow' like I have with this header?

If you are, this can be acieved by using the 'outer glow' filter in most graphics apps.
Just make one image regulat and one with the outer glow so that when you mouseover the image it appears to be glowing.
Not sure if this is what you are asking or not.
