Where to start?

I am looking at making my next site with php and mysql on linux. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where to start? books, tutorials? ect? Thanks.

That's a great link.
I started by just doing it. Little by little. I'd read every tutorial I could find. Even made a binder of printed tutorials. Too cheap to get a book I quess.
My advice is to first know your HTML. This is a must. Then get to know PHP. After you know PHP, then you go after MySQL. And to get the most out of learning, outfit your PC with an Apache server with PHP and MySQL. It's all free anyways. Good luck and God speed.
