What is the best way to accomplis this

My company wants to put their three magazines online. There are at least 30 articles monthly in each magazine. My question is what would be the best product to create the database in. In addition, would it be in my best interest to create XML DTD to help organize the articles. I don't know where to begin...

SQL Server 2000 would be a great choice if you're planning on using XML. You could store all the data in SQL 2000, then use XML/XSL templates to transform the data for presentation. Don't make this more complex than it has to be though.
