Searching Databases

I am trying to get a customer information database going using MS Access Databases & ASP. I am using Front Page 2002 to do this since I have no experience with this kind of setup.

I used the database integration wizard and got pretty much what I wanted, but it listed all of my customers with a link to click on for each one to pull up details.

My company is an ISP and want to use this for customer support as well as database maintenance so I need a search option to pull up customer names. I can get this with database results pages, but I lose the option of editing the customer.

I would like to be able to type in a customers user name, have it bring up details of that customer, be able to edit the customer on the fly, and be able to type in support logs.

Pretty much, I just need to know how to put a search form on my ASP page, so that it brings up my customers information. I can get the rest pretty easily.

So, if you were able to understand that mess, know Front Page 2002 (or what I am trying to do), and have any idea what I should do to get this, please let me know.

Thanks

Zimbabwe

Are you comfortable with ASP? You will be better off in the long run to build this yourself. You'll never get the flexibility you need trying to do this with Frontpage.

Take a look at the database samples at asp101.com , you'll see its not that hard.
