Frontpage and Access
Hey all, and thanks in advance.
I want to be able to compare the values of my text boxes (created in Front Page) to the values of fields in my access Table. How can I do this without putting the database on a server, or is that the only way? (If so, can you please lead me in the right direction?)
OR, is there a way to open up the database without going through all of that?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Do you want someone to fill out a form (text boxes) and then compare what they enter to something in your database? Or something completely different?
At any rate, for your Website to have access to your database it has to be on the server.

That's exactly what I want.. I want them to enter something into some textboxes, and then compare those entered values with those already stored in a database.

Dizz,
I'm not sure if FrontPage gives you the ability to compare values in a database, I think it just has built in features for database query result type pages. If you have the ability to use ASP pages you can access the database yourself, check the samples at asp101.com for more info on that.
