Database question
Good afternoon,
I am creating a website for a non-profit organization currently, one of their needs is something I've never done and I was told this site would prove to be more than helpful.
The site in question is a community exercise site, where members log in with their user number and password. When logged in, they can input exercise and amount of time, weather conditions, etc.
At the end of the month, we extract the data for use at year end award festivals.
I'm fairly certain I can use MySQL to store and access the data, problem is I have NO CLUE how to set up the whole thing.
Other things I'd like... depending on the amount of cumulitive exercise the user has done, they are given certain "titles" to reflect their cumilitive work.
Can someone either...
A. Point me to some useful and helpful info or
B. Tell me who I could hire to do this for me.
Thanks a bunch for your help!
Jim

The php and mysql manuals can come in handy.
You can download a php/mysql/apache bundle and install on a windows machine and build it offline (one place is firepages.com.au)
within mysql is phpmyadmin which is basically a mysql editor
If you want to hire someone you could make a request in the 'help wanted' section
