Coldfusion Date?

I need to send a date from flash to coldfusion to mysql but there's a format issue. Can coldfusion take a flash date in this format: Thu Jul 20 00:00:00 GMT -0400 2004 and put it in an acceptable format for mysql? What is mysql's format?
