Basic product database and ASP
I want to get started with ASP and a database on my site. However, this is totally new for me.
I hope I could get someone to make a small access database containing 2 categories with 2 products in each category (product name, description, price, picture if possible)and a ASP page showing the products.
That would be a big help for me and all other beginners to get a example like this to play with.
Maybe it is allready out there.
Please post the URL here so all other newbies can use it also.
Thank you.
Mike

Well, to all newbies, I highly recommend you buy a book.
http://hotscripts.com has a lot of scripts you can hack (more advanced than what your asking for)
http://asp101.com has tutorials, and scripts
http://4guysfromrolla.com have good tutorials, with finished scripts
you can also search our forum for other information
Good luck,

Mark already listed asp101.com which is great for ASP samples/code. The link to what you're looking for is http://www.asp101.com/samples/db_simple.asp .
It's pretty straight-forward, and an Access database is included.
