Access database on Pocket/CE devices?

Not really a webmaster question, per se, but it is database related -- although maybe some of you with Access databases on your sites manage those databases from a portable?

I am considering asking for a palm or pocket device for Christmas -- no, I don't have rich relatives, but it might work as a combination gift from several people via gift certificates or Flooz.

What I really want is something small enough for my (rather large...) purse that will run Access databases, but I'm not sure how much of the Access functionality carries over to the Pocket / CE platform. Since I started using Access for my websites, I've been using it for more and more customized applications for myself -- food/exercise logs, to-do lists, etc. -- and many of these databases would be great to have in my purse and available to me at all times. Is it difficult to move the data back and forth to a regular Windows machine? I would do all of the database development work (table & query definitions, stored procedures programming, etc.) on my desktop computer and just use the PDA for entering and reporting data.

I won't need anything fancy (like hi-res color display, etc.), just the basic palm stuff, and Access. Any suggestions on which device(s) I should be looking into?
