User profiles: what do you want to see
Hi everyone,
We are starting to work on improved user profiles for the site (click on someone's name to see a sample profile - it's not pretty!). The new profiles will include the standard user information (if that has been filled out), recent topics and comments posted by that person, and some moderator tools for those who have permission.
But what else? Is there anything else you would want to see on a profile page? I'm not sure if people use the favourites very much, but that's something we could display. We could add more fields to the personal information list. We could do a Facebook wall type comment area. We haven't brought back the portfolio feature that we had before the upgrade but that would be something we could display. Those are just some ideas.
With Drupal we're not necessarily limited in what we can do so feel free to suggest anything you think would be useful.

Maybe some social networking icons that would link to our different profiles.
I think the projects would be a good thing to list as well. (So if the projects weren't moved over, I'm assuming that they are not lost, right?)

No, they're not lost. There was a problem with the module that takes the screenshots (hasn't been updated to Drupal 6). There's another question - would you have a problem with uploading your own screenshots? I'm thinking it might make it more difficult for spammers.

Yes, I think that would be better. I added a project once while it was still in development, and there was an under construction page up. Tthere was no way that I knew of to update that screenshot once I launched the site.

Before we moved to Drupal from vBulletin, tracking members used to have what they posted in the thread instead of just the link and title. Is it possible to get that feature back? I found it quite useful.
