TWF down... again?
Is it just me, or has the servers TWF is one been down twice in the past week? Today I tried to access from around 9am EST to 11:30am EST and din't get through until around 12pm EST. Is it the servers, or just me?

I've had the same problems also, so it's not just you.

It's not just you - I had the same problem. I'm kind of concerned because I just signed up to host my site with DIDS (same place as TWF). I did get an e-mail from them saying that they were doing some upgrading or something this week so maybe that's the problem.

It probably is the upgrades, as not only TWF is going down, but so is dids.com.

Hmm- I didn't notice DIDS was down, but they are slow right now. Isn't TWF on a shared server?

Every server that we own had downtime last night. We were moving all of them to a new and improved facility. Moving servers is something that isn't fun and problems can and do arise. But, it is something that has to be done to accomodate the ever changing and growing Internet.
The downtime area was between 10:00 PM EST last night and 8:00 AM EST this morning. We had some problems and some of the machines, including TWF's, were not back online until 12:00 PM EST today.
Megan, this isn't normal
[EDIT]Justin, the server that TWF is on was not down earlier this week. Wasn't us on that one.[/EDIT]

I thought you co-located? Anyway- BurstNET is moving to bigger facilities right now also, so is that who you co-locate with?

Our servers are located in the VDI facilities as are BurstNET's. They went through all of this last night and this morning as well.
