The TWF baby is on the way!
That's right, JeevesBond and I have decided that there aren't enough geeks on the planet, so we're creating a new one Of course, we expect the child to begin coding HTML within 6 months. Expected arrival: October 13th.
For those of you who don't know - JeevesBond and I met on this forum about 3 1/2 years ago. He moved to Canada from England in 2006 and we were married in 2007!

A tough ask! Perhaps it'd be qualified to produce a few W3C standards in those initial months, before taking on the task of really using them.
Here's hoping everything goes well for all of you!

Best of luck to you Megan and Liam.
If a child can code at that age, i think that even Bill Gates would be impressed, yet again. It could happen.
Regards,
Mike

Sorry for being slow at replying to this, most important thread, but I've had a lot of work on.
Thanks for the congratulations everyone, good to see some old faces who haven't been on the forums much of late.
Exactly! Which will come first, potty training, or deleting his/her first spam post?
Bedtime stories for children: Alice in Wonderland (and Through the Looking Glass), Lambda calculus, followed by the LISP Hyperspec. Does that meet your approval Abhi?
This poor child will either turn out to be an uber-nerd, or rebel completely and take up farming, train driving or bin collecting.

Yes, everything's good! I'm getting quite big and feel the baby moving often. We accidentally found out it's a boy! Went for some tests in Toronto and they gave us a printout of all the ultrasound findings. Oops. Oh well, we're happy to know. Lots of little blue & green outfits lined up in the closet already
