Time stamp on postings - Don't think they are consistent

JP, Chad and Joseph,

The time stamps are very inconsistent. I just posted a reply to a discussion at 3:46 local time (Pacific Daylight) which is the same time as where the server is at. However, if you go by the time stamp, I made my posting 3 hours before the original post was made

The post I'm referring to is:

http://www.webmaster-forums.com/cgi-bin/bigtalker/discussion.cgi?forum=11&discussion=179

Noticed a few others that weren't consistent either. Chad posted in one of these at 6:26 pm today (3rd), but if you go by local time of the server or even where Chad is at, it isn't even 6:00 pm there yet.

Not being nit-picky, just letting you know about a possible bug.

This is added:

Is BT pulling the time from our ISP or from JP's server. If coming from ISP, that could explain because a lot of ISP's run their servers on GMT time. I think mine runs on local time.

this is a problem with the server time, but chad is trying to fix it these days, then we will hopefully get the right time stamp back Smiling
