Suzanne Resigns
Due to time constraints, Suzanne is resigning from her moderator dueties here at The Webmaster Forums. She has been a part of the team since August 4th, 2001. And in the past 9 months or so, has taken on more administrative dueties to cover my absence.
Thanks for your dedication over the years, Suzanne. And don't be a stranger!

Suzanne is leaving? Man. First The Webmistress and now Suzanne, someone is going to have to set up and take over for them. They know a lot about the net and we are gonna miss them.
Too bad you have to resign Suzanne, I am really going to miss you and your knowledge Thanks for all the help you have given me.

Darn thats a kick in the knackers...
Suzanne, thank you for every one of you 5,728 posts. You have helped me on several occasions and you will be greatly missed. Plus you have possible the greatest repetoire of put downs I have ever seen!!
I only hope that over time I will become as valuable a member of TWF as you are although I think that would be near impossible...

The board won't let me post enough sad faces. Really, I'm close to tears. This place feels so different now.

I'm sure Suzanne won't be a total dropout. Moderating requires such a commitment, so now she can pop in whenever it's convienient, without the stress of knowing that it's a *must*.

It took me awhile to get around to it but I went out and got Suzanne goodbye card and gift on behalf of the group. I hope that's okay We don't normally do this but since I happen to be able to drop it off at her house I thought it would be a nice thing to do. I'll sign it from "your friends at TWF".

Hey guys...
Well, a month has gone by and I'm still up to my ears in work and life. Megan came by tonight with a present, but said it was from everyone (that sneaky Megan!) and a card. She told me there was a thread and I'm very touched, thank you for caring!
I feel like I was really slacking the last few months, since a personal incident shocked me out of my online complacency (basically a mostly virtual relationship turned out to be mostly fraudulent...) and I've been reassigning priorities in my life. I tried to keep TWF in the top ten but I ended up just not having the time to give you all sensible non-cranky answers and no one likes a big crank stomping around!
Thank you, everyone, for your great questions and your horrible questions and all the questions in between! Thank you for all the research I had to do to answer those questions, I learned more than I could possibly share and it was to my benefit to answer those questions!
Thank you to everyone who answered MY questions, I really appreciate the time and research that goes into a good sensible answer.
I would like to say that I'm going to be around, but the reality of it is I'm not. I don't foresee a chance to be involved again for at least another year, and by then all the players will have changed again.
It was wonderful watching people go from newbie to professional, and to see the incredible friendships that developed. In a small way, I also miss the trolls...
I know the moderators are a good bunch, I'm not really leaving a hole, leastwise not one that won't close over quickly.
Thanks for everything, everyone, don't be sad, be valid! (haha, see how out of the loop I am?)
To the future!
Suzanne

Wow, it has been a while since I have been to TWF. I wasn't aware that Suzanne resigned.
I just want to say that, IMO, she has been a **huge** asset to this forum over the years. She is one special lady who has unselfishly given her time to help people with their problems and has probably answered thousands of questions. She deserves a TWF medal of honor if there is such a thing.
Hugs to Suzanne where ever you are!!
