Small suggestion
Get rid of the "Forums" link at the top in the header template and put a link to the Calendar. The "Forums" link is un-needed as the logo provides a link to the same destination.

I agree that we don't need that 'Forums' link, as the logo is one, and there is also the string showing your location...
But would the calendar be used that much?
We are also missing a link to the member list, but only have so much space available for links.

Well, since the number of links already makes that part of the design go to another row in 800x600, we should consider using icons and putting them below where they are now. We could use the default vB ones and change the colors to suit our needs or we could use the more detailed ones from vB 1x.

well... we could. But we went with text to save on bandwidth.
the CSS has the nav links set to 10pt font... I could try something smaller maybe.. What do you think?

If you're totally against graphics which might spruce things up a bit, then definitely reduce the font size a tad. But, I still would like us to use icons. I mean, heck, vBulletin is fast enough as it is, having these small icons will not make much of a difference.

I talked to Chad... graphical nav OK-ed.
So which ones you want?
