I noticed this last night, but I thought it was me.
I've spent the weekend re-installing my system, and I'm dual booting for the first time. I was browsing in linux and it didn't work. I just got a stable windows installation and the search is not working here either. 8[
I'll take a look at the templates when I get a chance.

That's strange, try refreshing - can't recreate that problem here.
Maybe it would be time to upgrade to the latest version, 2.2.1, and add some new features and functionality here? It's a good time as the next version won't be out for quite some time.
Just noticed a few other things have disappeared as well, clicking "report to moderator" gives you a lank page (I clicked it by accident) also after you submit a post the usual text doesnt display, the text about being taken back or if your being something and something about a poll (memory like a wet fish) but do still get the text in brackets, saying something like "click here if you dont want to wait or here if nothing happens".

That's what I was thinking... Chad said he would be making some changes in the future. I can't imagine that he'd start hacking on an old version.

Upgrading to 2.2.1 has actually been on my list of to-do items since it was released but the holidays brought on very little free time.
I will be upgrading tonight to see if it resolves these problems... I have NO idea why these problems started occuring as I haven't made any changes to the forums and I don't believe Mark has either.
I will have things working normally tonight. Upgrading to 2.2.1 is the first of a couple of changes I am going to try to accomplish during January.

OK, the upgrade to version 2.2.1 has been completed and all of the problems mentioned previously appear to have been corrected.
I still have no idea why these problems occured as nothing has been changed at TWF in quite some time that would cause this kind of a problem.
I have tested all of the links reported broken and they all appear to be working as of the time of this post. If you run into problems still, please post.

I just went to Member Directory and if you click on Moderators, Administration or Team Leaders it pulls up the whole list of members, so that function isn't working.

The Administrator/Moderator options in the Member Directory are custom hacks that I have to actually edit a PHP file of the main source code to correct. Bottomline: It's not as easy as editing a template, unfortunately.
I will have this corrected when I dig into the templates (tonight, I hope).

Can the feature 'Subscribe to this Forum' be made to work so that when someone starts a new thread an email is sent out. This works for me on the Website Critique forum but not on any of the other ones even though I have got them listed on my Subscribed Forums.

search entries, I just tried doing a search for "PHP" (minus quotes) but it says its under the 4 letter minimum , I guess searching for css or dom is outta the question as well
can it be changed to 2 letter minimum ?
The Webmistress posted this at 07:23 — 22nd January 2002.
Yeah I noticed that yesterday when I did a search for 'css' but as people pu things like php & css and not the full names you can't make the search more than 4 letters!

Actually according to the VB people subscribing to a thread does nothing except put the new threads in your profile area (control panel). It does not email out a notification.

Yeah, nothing loads. Maybe reupload the file?
[edit]
I've also noticed no text is appearing in the standardredirect template.

The templates are all original. The last mod on the files is August 2001. I don't get it.

When there are no new message it will redirect to the screen where it tells you no new message. but when there is new messages you get a blank screen.
Hope this will help. I really like that feature.
