One more forum? - ASP, PHP, advanced programming languages
Definately create a NEW board for this, because it would make it a lot less confusing then adding it to the cgi board. I don't know much about cgi and I am not planning on learning but I am very interested in learning asp and php. This is an excellent idea.

JP,
Although I know you don't want anymore forums, you might consider creating an advanced programming forum. I know a lot about ASP but very little about PHP (two advanced programming languages). I easily think that the CGI/PERL forum can be changed and make all of these topics one using something like Advanced Programming... Or you could create a new one. I have a lot of help that I could provide with ASP and I would like to find someone that can provide a lot of help with PHP. What about these rest of you? Do you need some advanced programming help? How do you think a forum like this should be setup? I am all for keeping TWF down to a minimum while offering as much information in as organized of a way as possible, but I think a forum of this nature should be created. What do you think?

Fair enough, I think it's a good idea myself, but will again make the front end even more confusing. Back to the category only view
I would like to hear more opinions on this, and from anybody interested in moderating this future forum. Thanks,
JP

Well, to be frank as I usually am. I don't even know perl/cgi so it sounds good to me. I might learn something yet.

JP,
I would be more than happy to moderate the forum... I could offer quite a bit of knowledge on programming ASP but I am still learning PHP but I could offer the knowledge I have on it as well.
I do not use nor know CGI/PERL but I don't think you could rid of it. Many people do use it. It does not look to me like the Article Critique Area gets many posts... For the sake of keeping the front page not so confusing, you might consider getting rid of that forum??? I see several forums that aren't getting many posts... I don't know how busy they are or how helpful, but you might consider getting rid of them... I think you should at least create this forum and give it a couple weeks to see how it goes...
PS: I am working on the description of our site for you.
PSS: I love the color!

I will get to this new forum when I sort out the colours.
Thanks,
