OK guys,
I have a few forums in mind:
- As polpus suggestes a misc languages forum
- a General Tech suppport forum (moderator already found)
I am hesitant about putting these in though as this would make the current page very big.
Is everyone still against the category display?
JP

I don't think there's too much to talk about XML, an entire forum dedicated to it would be pretty much useless (IMHO).
There are tons of web development techonologies, maybe a good alternative would be setup a forum for all these "miscellaneous" not-so-used technologies.

I'm still against the categories display ... it just makes me waste my time.
How about reducing the font size of the forum descriptions? I think most of TWF's traffic is based on regulars who already know what each forum is for, and don't need to read the descriptions.

I will be merging a few forums to make them more usefull/popular and hopefully slow wrong forum posts.

Hi JP,
I think you already have quite a few forums and can cut them down by combining a few. I have been trying to figure out the difference between the General Website Promotion and Internet Marketing forums.
Looking at a thread that talked about the Internet Marketing forum, it appears to be about the business aspects of the site, a very important subject indeed!
Have you thought about having a category for Internet Business and having forums such as website promotion, obtaining advertisers, shopping carts, and one that talks about the adminstrative functions such as the business plan, legal issues, etc.
Just a thought!
Chris

I Thinks I agree with Chris, "Internet marketing" and "web site promotion" are basically the same thing, unless somebody interprets them diferently. It makes more sense to combine some topics of forums like "making money of your web site" and "driving traffic to your web site" together.
Anyways... just a suggestion
