need a fix
hello:
in the general discussion area the "cheaper domains" thread is ate up. i make a reply and it puts me at top of thread but doesn't bring thread to the top of the general discussion threads.
what up with that

Yes, but I thought the answering machine would take the posts.
I'm not an admin, so I can't say for sure. It seems to be a problem with posts that were started before the transition to UBB. All new discussions work OK, so the best bet might be to restart it (kinda like the Startpath 1-4 at VP, man those are long!).

Was it a thread from before UBB was installed? I think that UBB just posts to the thread for those ones but doesn't do anything for them as far as updating the entire thread... I don't know - I've had that problem with a couple other (old) threads as well.

yeah, it was pre ubb.

The problem you talk about is in fact due to the conversion to UBB. I don't know what went wrong, but obviously UBB didn't quite get the right time settings, so all posts from before are now dated 01-01-1970! so when you reply to one of those threads it puts your answer in the wrong place
i'll try to fix as soon as possible, but there were so many other things going on in the last time, i just couldn't make it, sorry.
btw, what do you mean, too biased?
