An idea for a forum
Hi there,
I think there should be a forum that allows people to post their domain names/sites for sale. I beleive it's a good idea and i saw it on other forums too.
Also, there should be a similar structure to every domain/site posted. I mean, anyone who post a domain/site must mention the daily or monthly p/views, site income, price etc...
Thanks and best regards!

Hi,
I agree with Justin that those sort of posts fit perfectly well in the Job and barter forum and I don't think there would ever be enough posts to make a whole forum worthwhile.

If people want to do that they can just post it in the Jobs & Barter Forum. I don't think there is a big enough need for a forum on just that topic.
I think a forum on Flash would be more needed though...

I'd advise going the way of SitePoint and turning the Hosting forum into a forum for hosting/domain names.
Also...this is a tiny bit offtopic, but I think there are a few too many forums...if you compact them a little more and eliminate the tiny ones I think it'll help the community grow much faster.

I don't see how compacting the forums would have anything to do with growth of TWF ... I can only see it hurting it as it becomes less organized. I agree too many forums is more difficult, but too few is also difficult. I do not, however, think that either would hurt the traffic.

I agree that it won't make TWF grow faster...it may just LOOK like it.

What it'll do is bring it all closer together...I know I personally am much more likely to hang around a Forum with only a few boards than with many...it's easier to browse through the forums with less seperate pages...and there's a larger chance I'll see something that interests me...just my opinion, if I ran TWF I'd without a doubt compact the forums...take a poll or something...I'm not sure where most others stand, but I'd be curious to find out.
