Hidden links at the bottom...
Why are the links at the bottom of the page in the crimson area "hidden"? There is a "go to top" link, a link to the index page, and a "contact us" link, but they are the same color as the background, so unless you get tipped off by the partitions (like I did), you would never see them. Is this a mistake, or are they supposed to be hidden. And if it's the latter, why not just get rid of them completely? I'm thoroughly confused...

hey i found them too, I didn't think they'd be there as they are so utterly pointless...
Perhpas the webmaster is setting up a "forum treasure hunt"?

Yep, just working on fixing the stylesheet. There was a font tag in there!!! I almost threw up when I saw that. Shows you how long it's been since anyone has looked at those templates (and how badly we need a redesign!) It's coming though, just wait

Haha, that is odd. Who uses font tags anymore, really?

Embarassing, isn't it? This place has really been neglected over the past few years but that's all going to change. It's already changing! Great things to look forward to

Wait! the page is in xhtml and it has a font tag? thats way bad. If it was 4.01 them it might be understandable. I used to love font tags

No, no, this version of vBulletin isn't standard (regardless of what the doctype says!). It's just the forum software, not anything we're doing. I want to try to hack up the templates for the redesign and get rid of some of the table-ish-ness and other junk that's in there. Apparently the new version is more standards compliant.
