Forum Feedback
Firstly can I say that this is one of the best forums I have come across! Not only is it detailed to the extreme, but its fast loading, very helpful and its members show fantastic community spirit...
But I have two teeny, tiny criticisms...
1) If you click the About TWF link at the top right it takes you too a completely blank screen. I for one would love to know about the background of TWF, etc. Is it blank for a reason or is a technical problem?
2) Other forums I have been to give a sneak preview of the discussion when you hover the mouse over the topic title. I don't know how to achieve the effect with php but if I was using ColdFusion I would simply do :
<a href="foums/viewtopics.cfm?forumID=#ForumID#&TopicID=#TopicID#"
title="#TopicDescription#">
#TopicTitle#
</a>
This would produce a pop-up box under the TopicTitle with a description of the post up to a limited length. An example of what I mean can be found at The CFM-Resources Forums
Two very small criticisms of a fantastic site!

Flipper, thanks for the comments. We have recently had a site redesign and some of the stuff is not up yet. Anyway we are glad to have you aboard as we seem to be lacking in ColdFusion people.

Well I'm no expert in ColdFusion (I've only been coding about 6 months) but if I can help I will, if I can't help I'll find out, and if I can't find out I'll....er...um...stamp my feet?

I would also like too add some thing disucss above and also want to give three cheers to froum team and aal members and enthusist and veterts out there for supporting us all with valuable and timey suggesstion and save our lives . I have visited many forums of ASP and VB but i never had such a warm welcome as i found here and the look and feel of this forum is also very friendly and it looks very encouringing and rewarding to post any question or help any body here .. i mean you upgarde you self in this forum by post ( which should be for rational perpose...).. and this thing is lacking in other forums.Thats why when i found this forum ,it justtook my breath away and i really and instantly fall in love with this place and love to be here and surf ..
Agian hats off to all those who contribute to this forum in any position .

I beleive that Chad is writting up an About TWF page. He's a bussy guy, so give him time. It'll get up there sooner or later, so you'll just have to stick around. 8]
Yes, the effect can be achieved with PHP, but ... I'm too ..*thinks up excuse*.. busy to do that right now.
