A complaint ... - :) :) :)
This reply or post box which I am typing into right now is quite dinky. Have you ever noticed that? Perhaps it is the program and not something you can do, but at my age ... I find it difficult to read.
Okay, I've had my whining complaint in for the day ...

JP,
I'm writing this post from work. The reply box seems to be somewhat bigger on this monitor. Perhaps it is just my monitor at home. Hmmm...
Anyway, my eyes are not as good as they used to be. I'd say you aren't even close to my age ... lol.
Thanks for listening ... feeling better already ... lol

since we're complaining with a smile ,I would like to add that the "edit post" feature does not work, I could have used that feature a couple of times now but had to bother the forum moderator or JP to edit/delete it for me.
I might take it one step further and say that if this wont work any time in the near future why not remove the "edit post" link until it does?

Sure, I'll work on these problems when I get the time.
Jodys, some (the lucky few) can edit messages - not sure why...

I know, I know.
The edit link is a problem that will hopefully be fixed with the next version.
The fact that you never get notification to replies is due to my host (that problem will be fixed within a week when I move host)
The edit box is a new problem that does not bother me but I welcome opinions on it...
Thanks

Hi,
the "reply-box" IS to small.
Have you have tried to type in a sample that is longer then 3 lines ??
JP: As a quick-fix how about just making it longer (= more rows) ? That should be changing only 2 bytes in the template.
The fontsize is changeable in your browser settings ... at least I can do it here (with NS).
ciao

Ok, I should have seen this post earlier, but I missed it. Regarding the reply box, what browser do you use?
Regarding the edit feature, email me your username and password and I'll check. Please include the url to this discussion so I know what the email is in regards to.

Hi-
On my browser, the box is quite small. (IE5, 800x600) As for editing, I was able to edit a post a while back if I remember correctly....

For some reason, the boxes are big for NS and small for IE. Anyone know of a way to keep them both the same?

Like JP says, probably a good post for the HTML, but ordinary forms do the same. You can specify a text box 30 wide and in IE, it will be smaller than in NS. Maybe in NS 5

Please post the answer here, since it's more related to the program. I have very little time to be chasing answers around the forums.

Just a final note to say the edit and the post notification features are now working. If you have any queries/problems please alert us. Thanks.
