Bugs and Things to get rid of in vBulletin
Hey I figured that people notice somethings they dislike along with me so why not make a post about it?
Here is what I dislike and think we should get rid of:
1) The images you can choose from to have appear next to your topic and post. I think this is uneeded and it will make it confusing and it is too much like UB.
2) The subject that you can put next to each post instead of just making it when you post a whole new topic.
3) The color scheme!!! Change it immediatly its keeping me awake.
4) I like the lightbulbs, can we bring those back?
Here is some bugs I have found:
1) I seem to be having trouble editing my profile.
2) It's not letting you edit or delete messages.

Yep, I would remove many of the features!! Oh, and make it so the email notification box is NOT selected..

Agreed! The email notification box default should be off.

Until then you can change the EMAIL NOTIFICATION default off by going into your profile. That is, if you can get into your profile

Also, it doesn't show the member status (IE: senior member, moderator, etc...) for all members. For me it just says 'Registered' while for Maverick it says 'Senior Member.'

LOL Justin.
One suggestion I have is for the "posted" date and/or the icons for the profile, quoting, etc. be put above each post like they were in the UBB, if it is possible. It just seems more organized like that.

Images should be off, as should background sounds.
1) Hotlinking binary files from other servers without permission is borderline illegal.
2) Even if legal, it's very poor netiquette in that in can create huge bandwidth and server load problems for the host whose files are being stolen.
3) You know it'll turn into kids playing with porn and spam.
4) Morons will link 500K graphic files and and 7MB .mp3's of William Shatner singing "Muskrat Love" and pretty soon it'll take forever to download a page here. The more crap that's attached to a post, the less useful these forums become.
