BBCode disabled

BBCode has been disabled on the Webmaster Forums. The downtime earlier was me running a script over all the posts in the forum, and user signatures, to get rid of the stuff.
The BBCode and HTML filters were really interfering with each other, and no amount of fiddling would fix it. Since we're a Webmaster forum, everyone should be ok with basic HTML, particularly since we have a new toolbar to help.
If you've got any questions, or find any problems, post them here! Thanks, and sorry for the downtime.

Hmm. I wish I had read this before trying to post today.
Anyway, I am glad you did this. I don't like BBCode either, although nearly all forums I subscribe to require it.
Thank you.

JeevesBond:
You may like to update the Formatting help. Under More information about formatting options you still indicate BBCode for quoted text(!)
Or is that intentional?

Oops - too late! I spotted your first sentence as soon as I hit Post comment.
Apologies.

No worries, I know that's going to confuse people and ideally it will be changed.
