Avatar
Whenever I visit here, I notice one thing which gives me the unease:
The avatar alignment/placement never seems... right. Take a look. It's not so in the middle, but then it's slightly too much to the right.
Kind wishes.

It's centered within the box right now. DO you think it should be just centered over the text? Or aligned to the left side?

I'm used to seeing the avatar on the left side like here for example.

Or it also looks stable all in the middle like at SitePoint, example.

Just a comment/suggestion because it especially shows with the buttons with labelled members, your "administrator" and my "sponsor" button is not really aligned with the avatar, looks a tiny bit un-pro may I say. Also having all the text as left and just the avatar in the center creates a feeling of inbalance on my eyes, fools me to think the avatar is positioned too much to the right.
Sidenote, did you ever consider bigger size avatars for members? (such as 150 X 100)

Oh, you're right about that little shift. I think I was supposed to fixt that at one time but I can't remember what happened.
We did talk about going bigger with the avatars but some people were opposed so we compromised at 80px. We can always revisit that in the future.
We are actually considering moving to a new forum platform. Well, actually, we most likely will be moving to a new platform - it's just a question of which one and when.
I'll check out the avatar CSS when I get a chance... there are some other things I'm supposed to do in there too.
