Auto Subscribe!
It's really annoying when websites have it set to automatically subscribe to every thread you post in. I know you can disable it and delete all your existing subscriptions - but that is still a little bit of a hassle.
I think you should have the auto-subscribe to be off as default!

I disagree. I like to get email reminders and it's a pain in the backside having to tick the box all the time. I think maybe it should be a personal preference setting if possible...

Ooh, it's subscribing to every thread you post in? I did not mean for that to happen. Will check the settings.
What about subscribing to all new threads you start?? Would that be annoying? That's what we meant to do in the first place. Some people seem to forget that they started a thread here sometimes. Or people will respond again quite awhile later.
Now, I just need to remember where that setting is in this monstrosity of a control panel...

Looks like we can't just have it for threads but not posts. It is turned off now, sorry for the inconvenience

While we're on the subject of this. I changed my settings so I would only get one email a day, but for some reason I still appear to be getting one for each thread... any ideas why?
