I need help locating some cgi scripts for my new projects. I know very little about cgi - especially about how to set it up (customize it).

I'm looking for 3 scripts, and someone to help me set them up for use.

1. I need a recipe/cookbook script. Basically what I need is a script that will provide a web interface whereby a non-programmer can fill in some fields and the recipe will be formatted, categorized and displayed. I have found only ONE of these scripts, but it is the same one all the other sites are using. I'm looking for one that is similar to this one:
http://www.nbdesign.com/perlscripts/scripts.html

2. I need a yahoo-style search engine script, but it should only search the links that I will set up in the database. I would like it to have a simple form to fill out to add the links, but I don't necessarily want users to be able to add their own links. I must be able to aprove the links before they are added, as this will be a family-friendly search engine.

3. I need a script for setting up a jokes site. I want to be able to fill in a field for category, title, joke text, (etc) and then have it automatically format it and categorize it.

The people that will be maintaining these sites do not know html, and I want to make it as simple as possible for them to add info every day.

If anyone out there thinks they can help, I'd be willing to either give some free ads in my newsletter (65,000+), on my website (600,000+ uniques/month), or pay a small fee.

Thanks a bunch.

I urge you to check out
http://www.cgi-resources.com
and
http://www.hotscripts.com

Both sites contain thousands of useful CGI perl scripts.

Thanks for the advise.

My problem is that I don't know enough about the scripts to even choose one from those sites. I've looked around those sites already, along with others, and I can't make heads nor tails of it. I'm a web designer, not a programmer, and I have no clue which of the scripts will do what I want done. I've read through many (because every time I ask for help, people tell me to go to one of those sites and find it), but it does me no good. That's why I asked specifically for help finding a script - not a site full of scripts.

I appreciate your feedback very much, and hopefully some time in the near future I will learn enough about them to understand exactly what it is that I'm looking for.

I would be most grateful if anyone out there can help.
