What if I don't have CGI on my server? -
Jeffrey,
I have a page on a free server, so I don't have access to CGI. I've tried mailto: to handle my forms but it is so unreliable. What if I don't have have CGI on my server? How can I handle my forms?
TIA
John

The best solution I have found is http://www.remotelyhosted.com/
They host a number of scripts such as a form mailer, a logging tool, guestbook and others.
I have heard good things about the service (uptime, etc.) but have not used them myself.
If you're looking for a web site search solution that does not require CGI (but does require JavaScript), take a look at http://www.eons.com/cssearch.htm
The script can be used for a number of different purposes such as a job search engine. Free examples and source code are provided.
Good Luck!
