Okay, on my site we post article/essays, just general all around groans and moans. what i am trying to figure out is how i can let people leave comments after the articles. my hosting server uses asp and mysql dbases. i just dont know how to configure either of these!

if i am in over my head please let me know! i dont want to be searching in all the worng places. any advice would be much appreciated

thanks in advance

EDIT: i just found out my site host has phpmyadmin and mysql already on the server so, if someone can point me in the direction of a tutorial or something so i can configure my DB's for these comments that would be fantastic!

This is my site, It could use some reviews! Tell me how much I suck!

You would be using PHP instead of ASP if you are using phpmyadmin.

How are your articles/essays displayed now, are they just html files uploaded and linked together or do they get submitted to a database?
The reason I ask is you will need to link the user comments with the articles/essays, if your already using a database you could just add on to it, if you aren't you could find something at hotscripts.com or similar but be warned you probably wont find something to fit your needs 100%, learning serverside stuff can take a while to master

and you might need to reupload or reencode the whole poetry and whatnots if you want to transfer to a better engine with comments already applied like wordpress...
