track sales from my site to other ppl's website
hi, need some advice.
i wanted to put a link or a banner of some other website in my website. and if there are ppl click it from my site to their website, and actually buy soemthing, then i will get commision of it.
how can i actually track that the sales is from my site?? or how to do that?

I believe that this must be tracked by the 'other' site. You'll probably end up adding a referal code to your links so the 'other' site knows where the user originated from. After that, it's up to the 'other' site to keep an eye on them and what purchases they may make.

There are ready made affiliate scripts/programmes you can use for this but the other site(s) would need to implement it and you'd then get notification. If they are offering a banner affiliate scheme then they'd already have this in place.
