SPGM - Simple Picture Gallery Manager
http://spgm.sourceforge.net/?lg=us&id=main
Any one using this?
What about JAlbum?
I am looking for a very simple gallery script that a total novice can eventually use, after I set up a very basic image gallery.
This will be page of thumbs - click to larger - email or paypal to order prints.
I have used Gallery1 before, and it's just too much for our needs, same with Coppermine and 4images.
Geez I could hand code this faster than it's taking me to find a good secure easy script
Any info welcome.
thanks

So code something yourself.
Seriously, I think there's a need out there for a very simple, customizable gallery script. Seems like here we see at least one post a month or so asking for something much simpler than Coppermine and Gallery.

Just to be clear... I meant I could code a thumbnail xhtml page with links to larger files, NOT code a script of any kind. Wish I had that knowledge in at least one language, but I don't. The SPGM script is tiny php but makes horrible looking urls that search engines don't like or read and this is to be a commercial site.
I think I am waiting for Gallery 2.1 (2 weeks or so) and then going to strip it down to bare bones and just insert the bits I need. I have seen demos online now that make me think I can do that.
We'll see.

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Well, good luck and let us know how it goes with Gallery 2.1. We do get posts with that question all the time, so it would be helpful if we had something really good to point people to.
