Submission in what format to where?????

I am assuming you are looking to robot the site and accumulate a list of urls????

Or...looking at your request again, do you wish to review a particular directory and build a list of fully qualified urls based on directory contents????

I have a directory where businesses can submit thier link. What i want to do is submit thier link monthly to about the top 10 search engines. Im trying to get people to submit thier site so if i say we submit thier site every month i think that could help. Also, the guy im doing the site for wants it on there Smiling Any ideas?

Got the overall idea....

Couple clarifications,

1) When you say you have a directory where users can submit their links, what is the specific content of the directory and what format do the user links take (are they in a text file, multiple text files, etc.)???

2) What are you using to make the submission to the search engines? If it needs the urls in a particular format, what is that format.

1) A business can submit thier Business name with a link back to thier website. They can also submit a contact number that can be viewed as well.
2) I dont have a program yet and i have no idea. I just want to be able to automatically submit links that have been submitted to me to a search engine monthly Smiling

The submission part is easy enough, just take the form and append to a text file (If you have a databse on the site, that is even better, I recommend mySQL). As far as the submission to a search engine, I will take a look at some options for you...

Dont have a lot of free time, but I will see if I can work up something...

As a footnote, you may want to post over on the searchengine promotion forum for tips on submissions.
