Script question
I am looking for a script (preferable free) or something that will work sort of like Hotscripts.com. I want people to be able to add their resource to my directory. I have the following areas I want them to add their resource to:
scripts (from ASP to CGI to PHP)
promotion (articles, tutorials, other)
web design (companies offering service)
web hosting (companies offering service)
and a few others.
Is there a script where they can add their resource and I can approve or deny it? When I accept it, it will automatically display sort of like hotscripts.com where they have their resource information, a download URL (if applicable), link to the homepage, refer to a friend, review it, rate it, member reviews, visitor rating. Ok, well it doesn't have to have all of those features but the more it has the better. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Seriously, though, your request is quite a lot of work, you might want to consider paying for it.

That is a possibility. I looked at hotscripts but couldn't find anything, plus I wouldn't know what to look for anyway.

I linked to one that promises to be "just like hotscripts" -- that's why I was grinning...
It costs $199 though.
I had a hard time figuring out what to look for as well. Definitely a challenge because these types of sites are custom built to serve a particular need, and are themselves a compilation of other scripts, such as the functions you noted originally.
