I can't see why it isn't working if you have put in the whole url and that sill isn't working.
My only comment really to make is don't use free webspace. Buy a domain and have it hosted by a company who will allow cgi scripting, etc. It will also look better for you as a professional, especially doing website design!

thanks for your help. It's a college assessment so I don't really want to pay for web space as I may not go down the web development route. It does confuse me though because as you say, it should work!

Oh right, ok then. Someone else may come up with an answer for you. Have you actually sent the hosts an email with a copy of your code to see if they can shed any light on it?
What are you doing at college?

I've emailed freewebspace so have to wait a day or two for reply. Hopefully they'll be able to solve my problems. I'm doing an HND in computing support, hoping to go into networking. It's not the end of the world if I can't get the redirect to work but it looks better. Thanks again.
If anyone else can shed some light on my problem I'd be happy to hear from you. There would be a drink in it for you if you can solve the problem.....lol.
Did you read the link I gave you? There is a glitch in the Formmail in some versions and a fix needs to be made. Informing your host (send them the url) would solve the problem.

I'll send the URL to freewebspace.com to see if that can help solve the problem. It bugs me that there's just one little bit I can't get the way I want!

Hiya & welcome to TWF.
It should work, can you post the actual url of your site so that we can actually see the pages/code and maybe spot where the error is??

Please post only in one section -- this has been asked in three forums (so far) and you have responses in all of them.

From my posting in the Web Authoring Forum:
That is the tag you tried? The current version only has
, which will fail because there is no file specified, only a directory.
