I agree with Peter on the .NET 'sixth sense' initiative!!

ASP and .Net simply because that is the choice I have made. I felt more comfortable switching to .NET than to PERL or PHP etc.

Sorry, should of made that clear. I was looking for server-side programming languages, more than client-side markup languages.

Oh yeah!? I just visualize "Response.Write" in my head and the code magically appears! It's part of the new "6th sense" .NET initiative! Wink

Working with ASP on free servers and dial up is mush faster. No worries about missed semicolons, terminators, brackets and the like. Wink
Although, I find PHP much easier and efficient as far as processing, security, etc is concerned. Smiling

I create a "functions" include that has a Sub RW (PassedValue) which executes Response.Write (PassedValue). Much quicker than "echo". Laughing out loud

PHP, then Perl. I like PHP because it's so much simpler and is more like ASP in that it's it the same file as the HTML and templates.

I don't really think of JavaScript as a programming language, I think of it more as a helper, heh. XML isn't really a language, either, but XSLT? I haven't used them enough to really comment, but they seem to be very powerful and definitely excellent for publishing the same content across various media and platforms.

Well, ASP isn't really a language but since it's my comfort zone that's what I like to use.

With .NET I can even program in Pascal and Fortran if I wanted too!
