PHP .gif to .jpg conversion
I'm looking for a PHP script or function that can convert .gif's or .png's to .jpg's.
-also, looking for a function that can check if a .jpg is progressive scanned or not, and convert it to non-progressive if it is.
Thanks,

gdlib doesn't do any gif manipulation, but it may or may not convert from gif to something else.
to manipulate .gifs you'll need to install netpbm or imagemajik.

I just read an article about Unisys removing licence fee for the GIF format. Hopefully GIF will be supported in modules shortly

I've been told there is a script somewhere in the GD2 library to convert progressive scanned .jpg's to normal .jpg's, (nothing more specific than that..) does someone know the location of that file?
